I'm just getting into PC gaming, and I'm unsure about what monitor size would be best for my setup. I have a desk that measures 19 x 40 inches. Right now, I use a 32-inch TV, but it's not curved like the monitor I plan to get, and the TV's legs take up a lot of space. I'm concerned that a big screen might be overwhelming when I'm using a keyboard and mouse.

It really depends on what games you play. For competitive games like Apex or Valorant, a 27-inch is my preference. But if you’re into AAA titles, the 32 could enhance your experience!
Honestly, I think a 32-inch monitor is just way too big for me. If I had a wall mount or a bigger desk, I might go for the 32, but I prefer being able to see the whole screen without having to turn my head constantly. So, I've settled on a 27-inch monitor instead.
You’d be surprised at how massive a 27-inch monitor feels when you set it up. I just upgraded to a 27" MSI 1440, and it definitely takes more space than my old 24". The box also surprised me! If you’re sitting close and get a 32-inch, it can feel pretty cramped. Personally, I wouldn’t go below 4K if I went for a larger monitor.
If you're looking at resolutions: a 27-inch is great for 1080p, but if you're considering 1440p, then 32 inches works well. It all boils down to your gaming preferences! If competitive gaming is your focus, stick with 27 inches, but for more story-driven or single-player games, a 32-inch monitor could be worth it.
I’m leaning towards the 27-inch now, thanks for the insights!
