I'm having trouble with my Android phone, specifically the HMD Skyline. It won't receive image messages, and instead, I just see an endless spinning download icon where the photo should be. I've tried everything I can think of—I cleared the cache, changed various settings, and even updated the software, but nothing seems to work. It's super frustrating! Yeah, it sounds like you're using the default Android messaging app, similar to what Pixel phones use. Have you checked your mobile data settings? Sometimes, these images require mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
Are you trying to receive these image messages through the default messaging app or something like WhatsApp? If it's just the stock app, that might be a clue.
