What’s Up with These Mysterious $59.99 Charges from Apple?

I've been hit with a charge of $59.99 that I can't trace back to any subscription or purchase. I've looked through all my transactions, and all I see is that it says 'Apple.' This has happened three times since early yesterday morning, but the charges keep bouncing back. I'm reaching out to my bank, but does anyone have an idea about what might be going on?

If you don't recognize the charge, the first thing to assume is that someone may have fraudulently used your card. Definitely keep an eye on your accounts.

Yeah, that's exactly what happened. I’ve canceled my card now.

Now that you've resolved this at the Apple Store, could you share what the issue actually was? It might help others who are having similar problems.

Someone must have gotten my card details somehow. I read in a similar thread that others had random subscriptions pop up too, but for lower amounts like $10.99 or $4.99. I wish I had more info, but that’s all I managed to gather!

It sounds like your credit card info might have been compromised. I'd definitely recommend calling your bank as soon as possible to get it sorted out.

This was the answer.

You should reach out to Apple directly. They have access to your account details and can tell you what that charge is really for. Unfortunately, random people online can't do that for you.

Have you checked the subscriptions section in your Apple account? Sometimes there are hidden subscriptions that can cause unexpected charges.

I checked everywhere; my bank couldn't find any trace of it either. They suggested I reach out to Apple. I was just hoping someone else had a similar experience.
