I'm looking for fresh recommendations for IT and Tech news websites. I used to be a big fan of The Register, but their coverage on breaking news seems to be lacking lately. Any suggestions?

I like www.brutalist.report. It’s clean and straightforward without all the BS!

Came here to shout out that site too! I've discovered so many cool new sources through it.

A lot of places have turned into clickbait machines, but Hacker News still shines for me! Ars Technica has some good content, though they're light on deep technical stuff these days.

Totally agree on Ars Technica. They aren't as comprehensive as before, but their articles are still pretty interesting.

If you're looking for something Australia-focused, check out ITNews. It's been pretty informative!

Honestly, most of the classic sites feel like they're drowning in ads and AI nonsense now. I mostly stick to Reddit, but I'm tempted to ditch IT altogether and just become a coconut farmer!

Right? Sometimes I think banana farming might be more fulfilling. IT can really take a toll on your mental health!

Drivel! You might be confusing it with basketball, which is actually fun!

Bleeping Computer is a solid choice for tech news. I've found it pretty reliable at times.
