Hey folks, I need some advice! I have a Dell Inspiron 16 5645, and I'm dealing with a really annoying issue—one of the key clips for the letter 'A' is broken. This makes typing a hassle since I often realize I've missed the letter after the fact. Sometimes it works okay, but a lot of the time, it just doesn't register properly. I contacted Dell for help, and they said the only option is to replace the entire keyboard, which is frustrating because I just need that little clip. I've looked online but haven't found any trustworthy sources for just the part itself. Could anyone point me in the right direction for getting a key clip? Thanks a ton!

I understand wanting to just grab that clip! Is there a reason you can't just replace the spring clip? That seems like it should be a simple fix.
You have a couple of choices here. One option is to replace the whole keyboard, which is what Dell suggested. But if you're looking for a quicker fix, you could also just buy an external USB or wireless keyboard to avoid the hassle for now.
