Where can I find part compatibility checkers for my PC build?

I'm running into some trouble with my Dell XPS 8940, which has an i7 processor and a 3060 graphics card. Unfortunately, the motherboard failed, and I'd like to salvage as many parts as possible for a new PC build. Are there any websites that let me enter information about my existing parts to check for compatibility? Or am I worrying too much about this? Any tips would be really appreciated!

You should check out pcpartpicker.com. It’s a solid resource for checking compatibility, but keep in mind that Dell components can be tricky since they often use custom parts that don’t follow standard layouts. You might find that your case won’t fit standard motherboards and the power supply might also not be up to par.

That’s great advice! I’ll definitely include a new PSU in my list. Do you think I will have issues reusing the GPU, CPU, or RAM?
