Hey everyone! My PC has been acting up quite a bit, and I'm hoping for some advice on how to get it fixed. Here are the main issues I'm experiencing:
1. Sometimes, my PC won't connect to my monitor and shows a 'no signal' error. The only fix I've found is to shut it down, turn off the power supply, unplug the display cable, turn the power back on, and then plug the cable back in. I've tried using different monitors and a new cable, but the issue persists.
2. My PC crashes randomly, although it seems to be happening less frequently now. Still, it occasionally crashes during games.
3. I have to play most games on low graphics settings to have a smooth experience. I know my graphics card is outdated, but I want to hold off on upgrading until I figure out if there are other issues.
I've also checked for overheating, and that doesn't seem to be the problem. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9600k @ 3.70GHz
- RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Given all this, where should I start with upgrades or fixes, and will they help with my current problems? Thanks so much for your time!

First thing you should do is update the drivers for your graphics card. That can often solve a lot of issues. You can find the latest drivers on the Nvidia website. Just go to: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/ and follow the instructions there. Good luck!
It might also be worth checking your motherboard's compatibility with your components. Sometimes, issues can arise if the motherboard isn’t fully supported or if it needs a BIOS update. Have you checked for any updates for your motherboard?
I haven't checked that yet! Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.

Absolutely! Updating drivers can make a huge difference. Just make sure to also keep your operating system updated. It helps with performance too!
