I've got the latest Apple laptop that I'm totally loving, but I really need a custom-built PC for gaming. I'm curious to hear where others like to build their PCs and what places they recommend. I'm aiming for high-end graphics and ultimate speed. I already have a Samsung monitor, but I'm considering upgrading, so any suggestions for good monitors would also be awesome. My budget can go up to $4,000, maybe more if needed. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, the best place to build is right at home. Just buy the parts and put it together yourself! It's not as scary as it seems, and there are tons of guides out there to help you along the way.
If you want some in-store help, I'd suggest checking out Micro Center. For planning your build, PCPartPicker is a great tool. For monitors, you shouldn't miss the LG UltraGear or Gigabyte M32U, both of which are fantastic for gaming clarity and high refresh rates.
Is it really that hard for a newbie? I'm willing to learn, especially for something that's such an investment.
