Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a new 2TB SSD and I'm torn between the Crucial P3 Plus and the WD Blue SN5000. Could you help me decide which one is the better choice? Thanks!

The WD Blue SN5000 has a higher endurance rating at 900 TBW compared to the Crucial P3 Plus, which only has 440 TBW. If durability is a priority for you, the WD model is definitely the way to go!
The SN5000 outperforms in most areas, especially endurance, but keep in mind it requires HMB (Host Memory Buffer) for ideal performance. So, if you're planning to use this in a PS5, it might not be the best fit. Just a heads up, it can run hot, but as long as your motherboard has an M.2 heatsink, you should be okay!
Got it! I'm only using it for a laptop. I noticed the Crucial uses QLC and the WD uses TLC memory—does that really make a difference?
