I'm looking for opinions on a few 4K TVs that I found on sale at Walmart. I'm planning on using it with my PC (not for gaming), so I don't need smart features—just good visual quality. I can find plenty of product pages and specs, but I'm struggling to find any solid reviews to let me know if they are worth it or not. Here are the options I'm considering:
- LG 43UA7000 for $198
- Hisense 555BR for $168
- VIZIO VQD50S-08 "QLED Limited Edition" for $198
- VIZIO V4K50M-08 for $198
- TCL 43S451 for $138
- LG 43UA7500ZUA for $228
Are any of these TVs actually a good deal?

Haha, 'poor or stupid'? That’s a wild response! But seriously, TVs have dropped in price lately. I’ve seen good deals, like a 65-inch at Best Buy for under $300. For your budget and the options you're looking at, any of them should be fine for regular TV watching. Good luck with your choice!
I have a TCL ROKU TV I got from Walmart—it's a 55 inch and was about $228. The picture quality is pretty decent for casual watching, but we’re not too picky about it.
I wouldn’t recommend Hisense; they don’t really stand behind their products. Vizio went downhill after Walmart bought them. They make good accessories but their TVs? Not so much.
TCL offers a decent picture and simple UI, but they won’t blow your mind. I just upgraded to a Samsung and the quality is fantastic, but the Tizen UI drives me crazy! It's way worse than TCL's interface. I did mess around with LGs in-store, and they seemed decent, though.
LG has a solid reputation for TVs, so if you can score a good price, go for it. QLED models are great, especially for movies, but if you’re just using it as a PC monitor, I wouldn't worry too much about that.
I’ve found that Vizio's quality has dipped recently. But TCLs are usually good for the price; just keep in mind they might not last a long time. A lot of them come in for repairs if you catch my drift! Good luck! 🍀
Yeah, I bought a 75" TCL a while back and love it! The Roku interface is way better than what you get with Vizio.
