Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting a Ryzen 7 9700X, but I need some advice on coolers. Is a liquid cooler a safe choice? I have two options in mind: the MSI CoreLiquid A13 360mm for about $106, or the Arctic Freezer 36 air cooler for around $40. Which one do you think is better?

I've had a great experience with Arctic coolers. I personally use the Liquid Freezer II 360 RGB, and it's awesome! Though I totally get it, it's on the pricier side. Honestly, for the Ryzen 7 9700X, an air cooler like the Arctic Freezer 36 might be totally sufficient and will save you some cash!

Yeah, I agree with CoolGamer99. A good air cooler can do the job just fine, especially if you're not overclocking the CPU. The MSI liquid cooler is great, but it does add complexity and cost. If your budget's tight, I'd go with the air cooler!

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'm leaning towards the air cooler now since it's more budget-friendly.
