I'm trying to decide between three CPUs for my RX 9070 setup: the 9600X for $182, the 250KF for $210, and the 7600X3D for $240. I'd love to get some advice on which option provides the best price-to-performance value, especially when considering the costs of the motherboards—$150 for AM5 and $170 for LGA 1851. Any insights would be super helpful!

I say go for the 250KF on the LGA 1851 board. It's a versatile CPU that excels in both gaming and productivity, making it a solid investment compared to the more specialized options. If you're aiming for longevity, you might prioritize a current all-rounder instead of focusing too much on potential future upgrades with AMD.
If you're gaming primarily, the 7600X3D is a solid choice—it offers really great performance and should keep you set for a long time without needing upgrades. I currently have the 7600X3D and it’s been fantastic!
Check what resolution you’re gaming at! For 4K, any of these should perform decently, but if you’re at 1080p or 1440p, the 7600X3D will really shine. Just keep that in mind when making your choice!
For gaming, I’d recommend going with the 9600X or 7600X3D. However, if you’re leaning towards productivity tasks like rendering and Photoshop, the 250KF might be your best bet as Intel offers better price-to-performance there. Just keep in mind that AMD has better longevity with their motherboards for future upgrades.
That's a good point! It's definitely worth considering how long I plan to keep the system.
I really like my 9600X—great power efficiency and it performs well for gaming. You could always upgrade later without needing a whole new rig, just make sure it fits your current needs!

Plus, if you look for used parts, you can find the motherboards and CPUs at much better prices!
