I'm in the process of building a new PC and planning to pair it with an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. I'm considering whether to go with the Ryzen 5 9600X or upgrade to the Ryzen 7 9700X. I want to know if the extra investment of about €110 is worth it in terms of avoiding any potential bottlenecks. Thanks for any advice you can offer!

What about the Ryzen 7 7700X? It's similar to the 9600X but has two extra cores and four extra threads, which could be beneficial.
Honestly, the 9600X is more than enough for your build. You can save your money and stick with that option. It should perform really well with the RTX 5060 Ti.
Have you considered going with an Intel CPU instead? They can be a solid choice depending on your use case.
I've heard they might not be the best value for what I'm looking for.
If you have a little extra cash, it’s better to invest that in the GPU rather than the CPU.
I wish I had extra money, but I’m worried about bottlenecking if I spend too much on the GPU.
I found a nice bundle with either the 9600X or the 9700X for around €70 less, so I need to pick between those two.
