Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I've been using a Ryzen 5 4650G Pro for about three years, and although I upgraded my GPU to an RX 6600 last year, gaming performance is still disappointing—like, I can't even play Fortnite smoothly at 1080p without micro-stutters. I initially wanted to upgrade to AM5, but that's off the table right now. Instead, I'm considering either the Ryzen 5700X for 1000BRL or the 5700X3D for 1,678BRL, but there's a big price gap. I also want to upgrade my RAM to 32GB of 3600MHz, which will cost around 450BRL. Down the line, I plan to sell my RX 6600 for an RTX 3070 Ti since they're cheap used. I'm currently unemployed, so this upgrade is pretty crucial for me. I've heard people rave about the 5700X3D, and I'm worried about making the wrong choice since I don't want to stick with AM4 forever. Also, does anyone know if my B450M S2H Gigabyte motherboard can handle either CPU well? I haven't found much testing info on that combination. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How much would it set you back to upgrade to a 9600X? Sometimes considering what it takes to upgrade will give you a clearer picture.
Honestly, if you're primarily gaming, go with the 5700X3D. If you're looking to save money and don't mind lesser gaming performance, stick with the 5700X. For both gaming and budget flexibility, the 5700X3D is clearly the better investment.
Upgrading to a 9600X would cost around 3,400BRL, which includes a good motherboard and expensive DDR5 RAM options. It's just a bit too much for my budget currently.
