I currently have a powerful 4070 Ti Super graphics card paired with a Ryzen 5 7500F CPU, but I'm experiencing bottlenecks across almost all the games I play. I'm considering an upgrade and have found the following prices in my country: 9700X for $280 and 7800X3D for $350. Which one would give me better performance?

What games are you playing, and at what resolution? These factors can really affect whether you're seeing a CPU bottleneck. Also, it’s good to know how you figured this out. Just curious!
Many are running the 7600F with GPUs like the 4080 and 5070 without issues. Unless your CPU is faulty or you’re playing at an odd resolution, it’s probably not the CPU at fault. But hey, if you have cash to burn, go for the upgrade!
Yeah, I hear you, but the theory doesn’t always match what I’m dealing with. I’ve got real problems on my end, so it doesn’t feel right.
If you want proof, check out this link; the x3d variant can really give you a good performance hike! [Watch here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPQrqRue1ok)
Try this: lower your settings from Very High to Medium. If your frame rates improve significantly, it’s likely not a CPU bottleneck at high settings.
It really depends on the types of games you’re into. The 7800X3D shines in CPU-heavy games, but if you’re more into GPU-driven ones, it might not make a huge difference. I guess even a 9600X could be sufficient if that’s the case.
But switching from a 7500F to a 9600X only gives like a 5% boost, right? I just don’t understand why there are bottlenecks with a 4070 Ti. It could be another issue, like thermal throttling or something.

I’m mostly playing open-world games like The Witcher, Spider-Man, Cyberpunk, and Kingdom Come. Even God of War has been an issue. I suspect it’s a bottleneck; if you want more details, I can share my post history.
