Hey there! I'm currently working in IT for a midsize healthcare company, and we're pretty behind on our document scanning equipment. Most of our scanners are from around 2011, specifically older Panasonic KV-S1025 models that struggle with speed and other issues. While we do have a Fujitsu Scanner Series 7xxx that works decently, I'm looking for recommendations on more updated options. The department that needs these scanners processes hundreds of pages every day, so I'm aiming for something that's both reliable and quick to help streamline their workflow. I've been looking at the Brother ADS Series but I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks for any insights you can share!

Also keep an eye on Kodak Alaris products; they have some solid scanners with good support too! But from what I’m reading, it sounds like the Fujitsu models might be your best bet.
You might want to consider the Ricoh SP-1130Ne as well. It’s budget-friendly and performs well, plus it’s compatible with Windows 11. I’ve found that Ricoh scanners have been reliable across various settings.
Definitely look at the Fujitsu fi-8170. They used to be a top pick and now that Fujitsu is part of Ricoh, it remains a reliable choice. I've had great experiences with those scanners in busy environments; they handle high volumes really well without many hiccups.
Exactly, I’ve seen these in multiple offices and they just keep going. Maintenance kits are a must though!
If you’re looking for alternatives, Epson's Workforce series has been performing really well in our office. We’ve switched from Fujitsu to Epson without any major complaints.
Interesting! I’ve always been hesitant to switch brands, but I’ll definitely look into the Epson options now.
The Epson workforce really surprised us too! Minimal issues and pretty straightforward software.
I’ve had excellent experiences with the Fujitsu Fi series too. They just work, and there’s good support available. Make sure whatever you choose has solid TWAIN driver support, as it can save a lot of headaches later on.
Right, TWAIN compatibility is key! If your application only works with TWAIN, make sure to check that before buying.
I agree! I’ve had some issues with driver support on other brands like Canon, but Fujitsu has been reliable for us.

I second this! The fi series has been rock solid for us, and the drivers tend to be quite stable too. Really good value for what you get.
