Hey everyone! I'm trying to choose between two external hard drives for transferring files like photos and videos from my phone and storing files from my computer. The options I'm looking at are the Seagate Expansion Portable (1TB, USB 3.2 Gen 1) and the Lexar SL300 External SSD. I'd really appreciate any recommendations since the price is a big factor for me. Thanks!

It really depends on how you plan to use it. If you just need to plug it in occasionally to offload files and then store it away, the Seagate Expansion Portable is a solid choice. But if you want something more portable that you’ll use often, the Lexar SL300 SSD would be the better fit.
Honestly, just go for whichever one is cheaper. If you don’t have a specific need for speed or portability, the savings might be worth it!
