I'm trying to decide between two gaming desktops: the Lenovo Legion Tower 5, which has an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of memory, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, and a 1TB SSD for $1499, and the Skytech Gaming 011V, featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 7700, 32GB of memory, an AMD Radeon RX 9070XT, and a 1TB NVMe SSD for $1526. I'm looking to game at 1440p, so which option would be better? If anyone has suggestions for a better deal under $1500, I'd appreciate that too!

Also, check out some reviews on those specific builds; they can really help. I came across a few good video guides recommending combos for better balance between CPU and GPU, especially for gaming. Definitely don’t just rush into a purchase without researching a bit more. Merry Christmas, by the way!
If you’re focused on gaming at 1440p, I’d recommend going with the Skytech Gaming rig. The Ryzen 7 7700 combined with the RX 9070XT will give you better performance for those resolutions compared to the 7800X3D and RTX 5070. Plus, the Radeon easily handles higher graphics settings, so it’s a solid choice for gaming right now.
Totally agree! The 9070XT is a beast at 1440p, and you might even enjoy 4K gaming on it occasionally. Just make sure you keep an eye on the cooling and power supply!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll dive into those videos and see what others are saying about the builds.
