I'm building a budget PC and I'm considering a used RTX 3080 for about 300€ or a used 9060 XT for the same price. I'll be using my PC for some work, including Blender for video editing. I know that the 9060 XT is more power-efficient, but I'm unsure if it's suitable for my needs in Blender since I've heard that AMD isn't as strong with 3D software. Right now, I'm using a laptop with an RTX 3060, and I want to know if I can expect better performance from either of these options. Any advice would be really helpful!

Go with the 3080. I think you'll see a noticeable improvement over your RTX 3060, especially for the tasks you mentioned!
I'd say stick with Nvidia for Blender. The RTX 3080 is definitely better for 3D applications. It might be an older card, but it still packs a punch, especially in Blender and gaming.
Yeah, but for that kind of work, Nvidia has better software support. No competition there!
For what you're doing, the 3080 will serve you better for both gaming and workloads like video editing. Just keep in mind, it won't have any warranty since it's used, unlike the 9060 XT.

True, but don't forget the 9060 XT's newer architecture could give it an edge on efficiency!
