I'm currently looking to upgrade my GPU from a 2060 Super and I'm considering a few options. I've found the 9070 for around $625, the 9070 XT for about $699, the 5060 Ti for $475, and the 5070 for $600. I'm not considering the 5070 Ti because it's out of my budget. My current setup includes an Intel i7-10700K CPU, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2933MHz, and a 1080p 165Hz monitor. I'm also thinking about an overall build upgrade soon, and perhaps upgrading to a 1440p monitor as well. I'm leaning towards the 9070 options and 5060 Ti due to their larger VRAM capacities, but I'm curious whether the 5070 could be a viable option since it's cheaper than the 9070 XT.

For just $25 more, the 9070 is definitely worth it. Plus, if you're planning to upgrade to a 1440p monitor, it'll really shine there. Just keep in mind, your CPU might hold you back a bit depending on the games you play and the resolutions you're targeting.
If you're not considering the 5070 Ti, I'd definitely say go with the 9070 XT. It’s the best bang for your buck here and future-proof for a 1440p monitor upgrade.
I’d recommend going for the 9070 XT if you can swing it. It offers a great performance boost for just a bit more cash and will serve you well for both 1080p and 1440p gaming.
Honestly, the 5070 isn’t worth it compared to the others. If you're looking for longevity with future upgrades, stick with the 9070 or the XT. The 5060 Ti is fine for 1080p, but won't handle 1440p well in the long run.
Totally agree! A faster CPU will really help you maximize performance. Looking forward to seeing how that upgrade works out for you!
