I'm in the process of building my PC and I'm torn between the 9070 XT and the 5070 Ti. I found the 9070 XT on Amazon for $719.99 (ASUS Prime OC Edition), which seems to be the lowest price. The Gigabyte OC edition is also the same price. On the other hand, the cheapest I can find for the 5070 Ti is $830 for the ASUS Prime 5070 Ti OC edition. I'm not concerned about LLM performance—my main interest is DLSS 4.5. My CPU will be an AMD Ryzen 7 7600x. Any advice would be appreciated!

I think the 5070 Ti is the way to go. It's more expensive, but I believe the price is justified with features like better ray tracing and DLSS. If you can swing it, you probably won’t regret it.
As an AMD user, I have to say the 5070 Ti is the stronger choice here, especially at that price point. You won't regret spending a bit more for the extra performance.
You might want to keep an eye on eBay; I’ve seen 5070 Ti listings closer to $750, though prices could be climbing back up.
Just checked and yeah, it looks like they're mostly above $800 now. Tough break!
There's no clear-cut wrong choice! If you want to save some cash, go for the 9070 XT. But if your budget allows for the 5070 Ti, it's a solid investment for the features it offers.
Honestly, for gaming, I'd go with the 9070 XT. It should deliver great performance for that. If you're planning on doing productivity tasks too, then the 5070 Ti might be a better bet since it handles those tasks quite well.

Totally agree! DLSS 4.5 is really impressive and could enhance your gaming experience significantly.
