I'm trying to decide between upgrading to a 9070 XT or a 5070 Ti from my current 6750 XT. While I know the 9070 XT offers better value for gaming in terms of price to performance, I'm also looking to use the new GPU for a machine learning project at university. I heard about AMD's ROCm for Windows, and I'm curious how it stacks up against CUDA regarding performance and stability with frameworks like PyTorch, Open3D, SAM, and Rembg.

If you're focused on machine learning, I'd stick with Nvidia. I've tried using AMD cards for AI projects, and let me tell you, CUDA is just so much easier and has way fewer headaches. It really simplifies the process, so it’s worth considering before making your choice.
Honestly, I'd say go for the 5070 Ti! The prices are really reasonable right now, especially with Black Friday coming up. It could be the best time to make the purchase and get a good deal.

How much of a headache are we talking about? Like on a scale from 1 to 10?
