I'm trying to decide between the 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM and the 5070 with 12GB for my gaming setup. My main goals are to game comfortably at 1080p and also enjoy some VR gaming. I've heard that the 16GB on the 5060 might not be very useful since the card isn't powerful enough to handle demanding features like DLSS and ray tracing in larger titles. On the other hand, the 5070 is reportedly a stronger card, but I'm concerned that 12GB could be a limiting factor for its capabilities. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Don’t stress too much about the 12GB limit on the 5070. It's plenty for 1080p and even standard VR. The 5060 Ti with 16GB looks good on paper but doesn’t really deliver in terms of performance. I’d recommend the RTX 5070 for better speed and longevity in gaming.
Aim for the 5070 if you can score it under $500. It offers much better performance compared to the 5060 Ti, especially for gaming at higher settings.

I appreciate the detailed breakdown! This really helps clarify my choice.
