Which GPU Should I Choose for 1440p Gaming in Call of Duty?

I'm looking for advice on which GPU would work best for achieving 160+ fps consistently at 1440p in Call of Duty. My current setup includes an i5-14400F CPU, a 4060 with 8GB VRAM, and 16GB of RAM. Right now, I'm only getting around 80-100 fps without using DLSS or Frame Generation, as I find those options laggy in COD. Any recommendations on a better GPU?

Consider getting a 9070 XT. It might meet your needs, but I suggest saving a bit more and going for a 5070 Ti for better performance in the long run.

Also, while you're upgrading your GPU, consider bumping your RAM to 32GB. It could help your overall performance!

If your budget is between $500-$600, you're more likely looking at a 5070 or a 5060 Ti. Unfortunately, better cards like the 9070 XT or 9070 usually go over their MSRP, so pricing can be tricky.

First off, what's your budget? That'll help narrow down your options!

Good point! I should have mentioned it earlier—my budget is around $500 to $600.

Just a heads up, you'll need around $650 to $750 to snag a 5070, and about $800-$900 for a 9070.

When it comes to Call of Duty, AMD GPUs really shine. A non-XT 9070 will outperform a 5070 Ti across the board. So, if you can, grab the cheapest 9070 available or hold out to see how the 9060 XT performs. It should still be a solid upgrade from your current 4060.

That's a solid suggestion! There's also the possibility of the 9060 XT being a good upgrade too, although I'm curious about the price difference.
