Which GPU Should I Choose for My New PC: 9070XT or 5070Ti?

Hey everyone! I'm just about finished building my first PC and I'm looking for some advice on which graphics card to go with: the PNY OC 5070 Ti or the Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070 XT? There's a Walmart nearby selling the 5070 Ti for around $720 after tax thanks to a friend's discount, while the 9070 XT is about $760 after tax. The price difference is negligible, so I'm more concerned about performance longevity and support. I've heard the 9070XT has better clock speeds, which is appealing to me. A friend mentioned that the 50 series is pretty unreliable, which adds to my hesitation. I won't be using FSR or DLSS since I dislike those features, and my goal is to game at 2K resolution without any ray tracing. Here are the specs:

PNY OC 5070 Ti:
- 16GB VRAM
- Core Clock: 2295MHz
- Boost Clock: 2572MHz
- TDP: 300W

Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070 XT:
- 16GB VRAM
- Core Clock: 2520MHz
- Boost Clock: 3060MHz
- TDP: 304W

Is one card significantly better than the other, or is it more about personal preference? Also, I'll be running Windows 11 if that makes a difference. Other components include a Ryzen 7 7700x CPU, MSI B650 Gaming + Wifi motherboard, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a good PSU and cooler. Thanks for any guidance!

I've been thinking about this too! From what I've seen, the 9070XT can be a bit faster in some cases, but the AMD drivers might not be as stable as Nvidia’s. If you're not into DLSS, the 9070XT is a solid pick, but I still haven't made a decision myself after weeks of research!
