I'm planning to build a new PC but I'm stuck deciding between two options: the R7 7800X3D paired with an RTX 5070 (12 GB VRAM) or the R7 7800X3D combined with an RX 9070XT (16 GB VRAM). I could really use some advice on which one would be better overall.

Go with the 9070XT! It's not even a contest. It really dominates the performance department over the 5070 non-Ti.

Definitely choose the 9070XT. Its performance is superior, especially since the 50 series cards rely heavily on AI upscaling tech, which is something to consider!

Honestly, the RX 9070XT is the better choice here. It simply outperforms the RTX 5070, but make sure it fits your budget! If you're considering the 5070, just know that it’s more comparable to the 5070Ti, not the 9070XT.

The RX 9070XT is a solid pick; you can find options with PCIe plugs, reducing the chance of your GPU connector overheating, which is great!
