Hey everyone! I'm setting up a secondary PC for my condo where I'll be spending a lot of time. I already have a strong main PC with a 4070 Ti Super, so I'm looking for something suitable for lighter gaming. I primarily play esports titles, with League of Legends being the least demanding, and some occasional titles from Steam—nothing too heavy because my main rig handles that. Resale value is important since I plan to sell this build in 1-2 years.
Here's my current setup:
- Case: JONSBO/JONSPLUS Z20
- PSU: SF850
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
- RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 CL32
- Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
- Cooler: Thermalright AXP120-X67 Mini
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B650I-I (a spare I had)
The GPUs I can get locally are:
- **RX 9060 XT 16GB (XFX)** - €389
- **RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (MSI)** - €449
- **RTX 5070 12GB (ASUS Prime)** - €580
- **RX 9070 16GB (Sapphire Pulse)** - €663
- **RX 9070 XT 16GB (XFX)** - €719 (seems overkill?)
What I'm wondering is:
1. Which GPU gives the best performance for the price for my needs?
2. Which one is likely to retain its value best for resale after a couple of years?
3. Are there any compatibility issues I should worry about in my SFF setup? Thanks in advance!

When it comes to resale, the RTX 5070 Ti might have the best shot to keep its value in the next couple of years. Given that you're looking to keep your secondary rig competitive, swapping your 4070 Ti with the 5070 Ti could also be a good strategy. This way, you'll have a top-tier GPU in your main rig while the second one remains decent and still sellable later on.
I think the RX 9060 XT would be a solid choice for your needs. It should handle your esports games very well without breaking the bank. Just a heads-up though, the SF850 power supply seems a bit overkill for this kind of build; you might save some cash with a cheaper option.
Glad you mentioned that! I was worried about overspending on the PSU. Good call!
That makes a lot of sense! I never thought about switching them around; I might just do that!
