I'm looking to buy a new GPU and I can't decide between four options: the 5070 for €625, the 5070ti for €915, the 9070 for €670, and the 9070xt for €820. I play games on a 1440p monitor (LG27GS85Q-B). Here's the rest of my setup for context:
- Cooler Master MB511
- Gigabyte B550m DS3H
- Ryzen 7 5800x
- Hyper 212 Black
- 2x 8GB 3200Hz CL16
- 1TB WD Blue SN500
- Cooler Master 850v gold V2
- I currently have an RTX 3060 that I want to replace.
- 2 front intake fans, 1 top exhaust fan, and 1 back exhaust fan.
I'm also open to any tips on other upgrades!

Looking at the GPU hierarchy, the 9070 seems to offer the best value for performance if you're focusing on rasterization, especially considering its price and frames per second. The 5070 has decent ray tracing capability, but I'm worried about its VRAM for future games, especially at 1440p. You definitely want to consider that moving forward!
I faced the same dilemma until recently when I decided to go with the 5070ti. I was leaning towards AMD, but the price difference in Europe made me stick with NVIDIA. I just couldn't justify the cost of an AMD option when the 5070ti was only €50 more. Just keep in mind that the prices for the 9070xt are pretty high over here!
Yeah, I'm also concerned about the 5070's VRAM. It might be fine for now, but could become a problem in a year or two. Would you guys agree?
