Hey folks! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU this Black Friday and would love some advice on which one to go for. I'm torn between the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB and the RTX 5070. Both would be massive upgrades from my current setup. The 5060 Ti is priced at $450 and the 5070 at $550. I play a good mix of single-player and multiplayer games on a 27-inch 1440p monitor, but don't plan on gaming in 4K or at ultra settings on 1440p. I'm hoping to stick to a budget and I'm not looking to go beyond the 5070 or switch to a whole new AM5 build right now. Here's my current build:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (upgrading to Ryzen 9 5900x)
- GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1660 Ti 6GB
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550 F Gaming
- RAM: DDR4 16GB 3200MHz
Thanks in advance for any help!

I'd go with the RTX 5070 if your budget allows. It's a significantly stronger card, and while the 5060 Ti 16GB is still solid, the memory bus of the 5070 is much wider, meaning better performance overall, especially at 1440p. So if you want that extra kick in your gaming, the 5070 is definitely the way to go!

I've heard some debates about VRAM, though. Is the difference between 16GB and 12GB significant enough right now for gaming?
