I'm currently gaming and streaming at 1440p with an i5 13600KF and an RX 6700 XT. I'm usually hitting around 60 frames in most games, but I've been itching to upgrade my GPU since I've got some extra cash. I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5070 Ti and the RX 7900 XTX. The prices for both cards are pretty similar here in Canada, so I'm curious which one would offer better overall performance. Any input would be appreciated!

If you're looking at alternatives, the 9070 XT priced at $940 or the 5070 Ti at $1089 will give you around 15-20% better ray tracing and other features. It's worth weighing those benefits against your budget and needs!
I have the 7900 XTX and I really enjoy it, mainly for co-op and PVP games. It delivers stunning visuals and high frame rates. It can handle ray tracing, but it's not the strongest on that front. For single-player titles, you might need to tweak settings or use mods to get the best performance, but if you're okay with that, the 7900 XTX is a gorgeous card! If ray tracing is a big deal for you, consider the 5070 Ti or the 9070 XT instead.
I'd lean towards the RTX 5070 Ti or check out the RX 9070 XT. The 7900 XTX is great, but the 9070 XT is usually cheaper and still performs closely to it. If the 9070 XT is around $150 less than the 5070 Ti, it's a great deal especially since streaming on it has improved. But if the price difference is smaller, the 5070 Ti might be the better choice.
In standard gaming, both the RTX 5070 Ti and RX 7900 XTX perform quite similarly, but when it comes to ray tracing, the 5070 Ti takes a significant lead. If you don't need the extra 24GB of VRAM, I'd suggest going for the 5070 Ti because it has better AI upscaling and frame generation too!
