Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm stuck between the RX 9060 XT 8GB and the RTX 5060 8GB. My main activities revolve around gaming and using Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, and some Photoshop. I'm not in a rush to upgrade, so I've got a couple of months to think it over. Here's my current setup: Ryzen 5 3600 (I plan to upgrade to R5 5600), 32GB DDR4 3600, and I currently have a GTX 1650. What do you think?

Why not just go for the cheaper option between the two? Sometimes saving a bit can free up cash for other upgrades later!
If you're focusing on productivity, NVIDIA is the way to go! Plus, the RTX 5060 has some great features for gaming at 1080p like DLAA that you won't want to miss out on.
Honestly, I’d lean towards the RTX 5060 given its strong performance in Adobe Creative Suite applications. The studio drivers were built for that, making it a solid choice for your needs.
AMD is super focused on gaming these days, but if you're serious about software work like Adobe, the RTX 5060 might be the better option. It has the backing of studio drivers which can give you that extra boost in performance for creative tasks.
NVIDIA seems to have wider support for various software now, while AMD is really honing in on gaming. If gaming is your main goal, AMD can be a great choice, but for serious work, I'd stick with NVIDIA.
