Which GPU Should I Upgrade To for New Games?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU specifically to play the new Monster Hunter game, but I've come to realize that my RTX 2070 just can't keep up with the latest titles anymore. I'm looking for your thoughts on what my next GPU should be. Would it be better to go for an RTX 4070, an AMD 7800 XT with 16GB, or should I save up a bit longer to aim for the 9060 XT with 16GB? Any recommendations?

The 4070 is a solid choice, but the 7800 XT is also great. My son's been running the new Monster Hunter on a 7700 XT with a 5700X3D, and it performs just as well as my 4070 for about half the price. If you care about features like DLSS and Frame Generation, consider that too!

Just a heads up, Monster Hunter: Wilds is kind of a mess optimization-wise. What’s your budget looking like? That might help narrow down your options!

I know, right? It’s super unoptimized. My other games are also starting to lag, so I’m really in need of an upgrade.

Make sure to check if you can use DLSS with your games. It can really help boost your frame rates, even on lower-end hardware. But if you're already struggling to reach 40-50 frames on low settings, you might need a serious upgrade.

Yeah, I can still use DLSS, but it’s just not cutting it for newer games anymore.
