I'm looking to buy a GPU for around $70 here in Morocco, and I'm trying to decide between getting a GTX 970 or an RX 570. Which one would give me better performance for gaming and esports in 2026?

I’d definitely go for the RX 570! The 4GB version should be fine, but if you can get the 8GB, that’s even better. With the RX 570, you can run newer games pretty well, including titles like the new Indiana Jones game if you’re using Linux. Just remember to use community drivers for Windows as they’re often better than the outdated official ones. Also, keep in mind that some games do run better on Nvidia cards, like CS2, but overall, the RX 570 holds its ground pretty nicely!
