I'm trying to decide between the 5060 Ti, the 5070, and the RX 9060 XT for gaming. I want the best quality I can get while playing at 1440p, but I'm not looking to go overboard with something like 4K since that's a bit too much for my first PC build budget.

If you're aiming for 1440p ultra settings, I'd say the 5070 is your best bet. It offers stable performance and should handle most games smoothly at that resolution. Just keep in mind that while the RX 9070 has more power, it's also more expensive and possibly overkill for your needs.
Yeah, but for 1440p, 12GB VRAM should be more than sufficient. You really don't need 16GB unless you plan on maxing out settings at 4K.
