I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC. Right now, I have a GTX 1660 Super and I'm trying to decide whether to go for an RTX 3060 with 12GB or an RX 9060 XT with 8GB. I'd really appreciate any advice or insights on which card would be a better option for my setup!

We really need to know about your CPU too. If you have an older one like an Intel i3, then you'll want to upgrade that before thinking about a new GPU. But if you have something like an i5 10400F, you're good to go!

That's right! I do have an i5 10400F, so I guess I'm all set on that front.

If you're open to it, you might want to consider a used 3080 or 3080 Ti, or even an RX 6800 (XT). They offer great performance if you can find a trustworthy source.

Where can I find used graphics cards? I'm in Uruguay and need reliable stores.

It really depends on whether you need the VRAM. If you don't use a lot of it, the 9060 XT is much faster than the 3060. If you're looking for speed, I'd recommend the 9060 XT 8GB. It's a solid upgrade over your current card!

What about the 9060 XT with 16GB? Isn't that a better option?

I'd say go with the 9060 XT 8GB. It's way faster than both the 1660 Super and even the 3060. Just keep in mind that the 8GB variant may not handle future games as well as the 16GB version.

I'm on a tight budget, though. Is the 8GB still a good deal?
