I'm trying to decide between the 5060 Ti, 5070, or an AMD graphics card for gaming purposes. I'm okay with spending either option, though a cheaper choice would be nice. My setup includes a 9600x CPU, and I'm looking for a card that'll last me for a few years, ideally performing well for gaming.

Don't forget to consider what resolution and refresh rate you'll mainly play at! If it's 1080p or 1440p, both options will work well for competitive and more graphic-heavy games. Just make sure you're aware of the difference in performance based on your settings.
Definitely go with the 5070! It's a solid choice and should serve you well for gaming.
What about its VRAM? How long will it last until I need an upgrade?
What do you think of the 9070?
I'd recommend the 9070 over the 5070. Both are great for 1440p at high settings, but the 9070 has an edge with its VRAM. For 1080p, they're both fantastic, but you'll really want to capitalize on their strengths at 1440p.
What's the difference between the 9070 and 5070?
I feel like both can handle entry-level 4K gaming pretty well, even if others disagree.
The 5070 has some great performance, especially if you're running at 1440p. It's nice with 12GB VRAM; I've been using it at 3440x1440 with great results. But the 9070 edges out a bit if you want more VRAM.
Should I go for the 9070 because it has 16GB VRAM?

I'll probably stick to 1080p for competitive games and 1440p for more intense titles like Red Dead Redemption.
