I'm currently using a 1050 Ti and looking to upgrade to a new card. I'm considering the 5060 Ti 16GB, but I've noticed it's nearly 50% more expensive than the 9060 XT 16GB. I'm looking for honest opinions on which card offers better performance and whether it's worth saving up for the more expensive option or just sticking to the 9060 XT, which fits my budget better.

The 5060 Ti is roughly 4-6% faster in rasterized graphics and 10-20% better for ray tracing, but considering it's 50% more expensive, I don’t think that’s worth it unless you're really into ray tracing.
At that substantial price difference, just go for the 9060 XT. If it were a smaller gap, like $50-70, I'd say consider the 5060 TI, but not when it costs 40% more. It’s not worth it in my opinion.
From what I've seen, the performance is pretty similar between the two, with maybe a few extra FPS for the 5060 Ti. If ray tracing matters to you, then it's worth considering the 5060 Ti since it handles that better. However, if you're looking for value, the 9060 XT is an awesome choice and keeps you within your budget!
Check out the benchmarks! The 9060 XT 16GB is about 4% slower than the 5060 TI 16GB, but for that small difference, I’d say the 9060 XT is a better deal overall.
If you find a 9070 XT at a similar price point, that's a better option. Comparing the 5060 TI with the 9060 XT is like comparing a higher-tier card with a more budget-friendly one. For gaming, AMD tends to offer more bang for your buck right now.
