Which graphics card should I choose: 9070 XT OC or 5070 Ti Non-OC?

I've got a PowerColor Hellhound 9070 XT OC that I haven't opened yet, but I just saw that my local store has some Gigabyte Windforce SFF 5070 Ti in stock. I'm contemplating making the switch but I'm unsure about which card is actually better. I'm not a big fan of Nvidia, but I've heard their ray tracing performance is impressive. How do the 9070 XT OC and the non-OC 5070 Ti compare?

Overall, I'd say the 5070 Ti beats out the 9070 XT OC in most scenarios. The better ray tracing performance and the price difference make it a smart buy, especially if you're not a fan of the extra power requirements of the AMD.

I think you're overthinking it a bit! The difference between OC and non-OC versions isn't huge. A basic manual overclock can get the 5070 Ti up to similar levels as the 9070 XT OC, but with better efficiency and stability. If you’re not planning on tinkering with overclocking, just stick with the non-OC 5070 Ti.

That’s a good point! If you're looking for ease of use and less hassle, the 5070 Ti is definitely the way to go.

Exactly! For someone who just wants to plug and play, the non-OC is great.

The 5070 Ti is a solid choice! Even the non-OC version generally outperforms the 9070 XT OC in rasterized graphics. Don't forget, the 5070 Ti also has better ray tracing performance, which is a big plus if that's important to you. I'd say go for the 5070 Ti, especially since it’s about $20 cheaper!

Yeah, I totally agree. The performance difference in rastering is pretty significant, especially at higher resolutions.

Also, don't underestimate the stability of the non-OC models when it comes to overclocking in general!
