I'm trying to decide between the 9070xt and the 5070 for my next graphics card. Initially, I leaned towards the 9070xt, but I've heard from several people that its image quality might be worse compared to the 5070. Although I've read that the 9070xt can achieve higher raw fps, I'm okay with using frame generation. So, what do you all think I should go for?

Honestly, if gaming is your main focus, the 9070xt edges out as the better option. The only reason I'd suggest the 5070 is if you need the CUDA cores for work or you can snag it for a significantly lower price.
Image quality is pretty much the same for both cards when it comes to rendering at the same resolution. The 9070xt just does it faster!
At native resolution, both cards will look similar. If you plan on using upscaling, DLSS 4.5 generally looks better, but the performance drop might not be worth it for the slight improvement in quality. Just keep in mind the 4GB of VRAM difference too!
Just remember, your GPU doesn’t really affect image quality directly; it largely depends on the resolution and specific settings you choose to use!
If you're mostly gaming, go for the AMD 9070xt. But if you also want to do some AI-related tasks, the Nvidia 5070 might be the better fit for you.

Thanks for the insight! I'm mainly gaming, so the 9070xt sounds like a solid choice.
