I'm planning to build my first gaming PC, and I've settled on an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D as my CPU. I'm currently looking at two graphics cards: the ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT OC, which is on sale in Denmark, and the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC, which is similarly priced but seems to have a permanent price point. I'm trying to decide which one to go with based on performance, reliability, and user feedback. Here are the links for reference:
ASUS RX 9070 XT OC: [link]
Gigabyte RX 9070 XT: [link]
Also, here are my planned PC specs for additional context:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5
- **Motherboard:** Asus TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WIFI
- **SSD:** 2TB (exact model TBD)
- **CPU Cooler:** Asus PRIME LC 360 ARGB AiO
- **Power Supply:** Corsair RMe Series RM850e (850 Watt)
- **Case:** Silverstone FLP02
Any feedback on the graphics card choice or my build in general would be appreciated!

Either card is a good choice, but if you're in a hurry for a GPU, just get the one that's available now. If you can wait, maybe hold out for a sale on the Gigabyte. Both should perform well!
I generally avoid ASUS components because of their customer service reputation. I’ve had a strong experience with Gigabyte in the past, so I’d lean toward them.
You might want to go with ASUS if the cooler is shared with the 5080 model—it’s been noted how quiet it is, which is a huge plus.
Since both options are available to you in the EU, pick the one you like better. You can't really go wrong with either one!
I’ve got the ASUS Prime 9070 XT, and it runs super quietly and effectively. I’m really happy with its performance!

I checked and the Gigabyte is around $29 cheaper right now, so that might be the better deal if you're on a budget.
