I've just finalized all the components for my new PC build, but I'm stuck deciding between the 5070 and the 5070 Ti graphics cards for my 27" 1440p gaming setup. The 5070 costs $499, while the 5070 Ti is priced at $729. Is the 5070 a good enough option to save some money without sacrificing too much performance?

The 5070 for $500 is a solid choice, and it performs quite well. You might also want to look at the 9070 XT, which is around the same price and offers 16GB of VRAM. In fact, I found one for $580 at Microcenter. If you're trying to not spend a ton, I'd recommend the 9070 XT over the 5070 Ti, as the performance difference might not justify the extra $230. Just a heads up, Nvidia's DLSS has better support, but AMD's Optiscaler can let you use features like FSR on older games.

I’ve used a friend's setup with the 5070 Ti and was really impressed by its performance. That's why I'm leaning towards buying it; I want a PC that can handle everything for a while without needing upgrades.
