I'm planning to build a gaming PC soon, after November, with a budget around $1,000. I'm trying to figure out the best graphics card among these options: the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB, the RTX 5070, and the RTX 2080. I've heard that the 2080 might perform similarly to the 5060 Ti but consumes more power. I believe the 5060 Ti is priced around $469, but I'm unsure about the cost of the RTX 5070. I also need suggestions for a processor suitable for gaming, video editing, 3D art, and AI tasks.

If you’re looking for great value, either the 5070 or the 9060XT 16GB are solid choices depending on your gaming resolution. For 1080p, the 9060XT looks excellent, but for 1440p, the 5070 stands out more!
Make sure to reevaluate in a few months! The market will look different then. Honestly, the RTX 2080 isn’t a match for the 5060 Ti or the 5070.
Just get the 2080 if you can! It still holds up in certain games.
Go with the RTX 5070! It’s a solid choice for your build right now.
I’d recommend the RTX 5070. Aside from its VRAM, it’s really powerful and you'll have no issues gaming at high settings with it.
The 5060 Ti with 16GB has been outperforming the 2080 in most cases, especially with RTX enabled. Depending on resolution, the 5070 may edge it out. As for a CPU, you might want to check out the 7700x; it’s a decent all-around pick!

Totally agree! The 20 series lacks the newer features like frame generation. The 5070 can even surpass the 3090 in some cases!
