Which Graphics Card Should I Choose for Path Tracing: 5070 Ti or 9070 XT?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a 3080 and I'm stuck between two options: the 5070 Ti which is priced at around $1400 SGD, and the 9070 XT which is about $1000 SGD. The 5070 is a bit cheaper at $950 SGD. I'm really into ray tracing and one of my main reasons for upgrading is to dive into path traced games. Given the significant price difference, I'm finding it hard to decide. What would you recommend?

Honestly, for $400 less, the 9070 XT seems like the obvious choice. It's a great deal!

Prices are crazy right now! Are you sure you really need an upgrade? Sometimes just lowering settings can make a world of difference without spending a fortune.

I hear you, but honestly the prices have been stabilizing relative to MSRP lately, so it might be worth going for a new card if it's not too far off from fair pricing!

If you want to play path traced games, the 5070 Ti is a better fit. There's definitely a performance 'tax' you pay for NVIDIA cards when it comes to ray tracing, but they generally offer a smoother experience in those scenarios.
