I'm on the hunt for a new graphics card and debating between the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition with 10GB GDDR6X memory and the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT boasting 16GB GDDR6 memory. Both are similarly priced, but I'm not quite sure which one offers better performance. My current setup includes an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, 24GB of RAM, and a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400F processor. Any insights would be appreciated!

While many are saying the 9060 is the way to go, there are still great deals on the 3080 if you're patient. I’ve seen some for around $300 used, which could offer better value if you can find one. But if you’re comparing them at the same price, the 9060 XT seems like the safer bet right now.
Definitely lean towards the RX 9060 XT! It's a newer model and should last you longer in terms of support and performance.
I’d also suggest going with the 9060 XT. It has more VRAM and runs cooler, making it a solid choice for gaming.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll keep an eye out for 3080 deals, but the 9060 XT sounds good too.
