I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I've narrowed it down to three options: RTX 4060, 5050, and B580. Here are the prices: 4060 at $332, 5050 at $297, and B580 at $314. I plan to pair any of these with my B450 motherboard and a Ryzen 5 5600 processor, which means I'm limited to PCIe 3.0. However, my motherboard supports Resizable BAR, so I could go with the B580. One concern is that I might need to upgrade my PSU for the B580, since my Silverstone ST50F is four years old and I don't want to overstrain it. I haven't had any issues with my current RX 580 and PSU for four years, but I'm wondering if I'd be okay with the B580. Would it make sense to get the 4060 or 5050 instead since they have lower TDPs?

I would definitely not recommend going for any xx50 GPUs. The 4060 outperforms them significantly, especially if you can snag the 16GB version at a decent price. Just be careful with the power supply situation, as you don’t want to push an old PSU too hard.
Honestly, I'd lean towards the 4060 or even consider the 7600 XT if you can find it cheaper. I have the 4060 in my wife's rig, and a 6600 XT in mine—both perform great. My wife's setup is on PCIe 4.0, mine is PCIe 3.0, and the 4060 still shines. The 5050 isn't really worth the investment, so I'd skip that one.
