Which Graphics Card Should I Choose: RTX 4060 or RTX 5060?

I'm trying to decide between the RTX 4060 8 GB and RTX 5060 8 GB. My budget is medium-range, and I'm looking at these options mainly for blockchain development, some moderate AI work, and casual 1080p gaming (about 2 hours a day). I understand that heavy AI tasks might not be feasible with these cards. What do you think is the better choice? Or do you have any other recommendations in this price range?

What do you mean by 'medium-range' budget? If you're looking at around $300, then the RTX 5060 is likely your best bet in that price bracket. Just keep in mind that if your work is VRAM intensive, the 16 GB variant might be worth the extra money.

The RTX 5060 is slightly faster overall. If you can stretch your budget a bit more, you might want to consider the 5060 Ti, which could give you a significant boost in performance for not much extra cash.

Definitely go for the RTX 5060 8 GB! If there’s a Micro Center nearby, you might even catch the 5060 Ti 16 GB at close to MSRP, which is a great deal.

Between the two, the 5060 is the better choice. If your budget allows, get the 5060 Ti instead—it's only a bit more expensive and gives you about 20% better performance with double the RAM, which is handy for VRAM-heavy tasks.
