Which Linux Distro is Best for Streaming on an Older Laptop?

I'm looking for some advice on choosing a Linux distribution for my older laptop that I want to use for streaming services like YouTube and Prime Video. The laptop has 4 GB of RAM and an i5 2410M processor running at 2.30 GHz. I plan to connect it to a TV and won't be using the TV for internet access. I'd appreciate recommendations for a lightweight distro that can handle these tasks smoothly! Also, I'm not the best with English, so I apologize if I'm not clear enough.

I’m using Linux Mint on my old MacMini, which also has just 4 GB of RAM, and it runs perfectly for streaming. You should have a good experience with it!

Linux Mint has been my go-to on all my machines, and I’ve got it running smoothly on several setups just like yours. Even with 4 GB of RAM, it performs great for streaming and browsing. I'd recommend giving it a try!

Thanks! Which desktop environment do you think works best for that setup?
