I'm trying to decide between two monitors for my Mac Mini M4 and I need your help! The options are:
1. LG UltraFine 27" 4K UHD 60Hz IPS Monitor (27US500-W) for $250
2. Dell Plus 32" 120Hz 4ms GTG IPS LCD FreeSync Monitor (S3225QS) for $500
The LG is smaller, has a 60Hz refresh rate, while the Dell is larger, with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both are 4K but I'm wondering which one is better for tasks like productivity, light gaming, and general use. Any advice?

I'd lean towards the LG for the Mac Mini unless you're really into fast-paced gaming. The M4 isn't going to push past 60fps for demanding tasks, and the picture quality on the LG is excellent for work and casual use. If budget allows and you want the higher refresh rate, the Dell could be nice for future-proofing, but the LG might save you some cash for other peripherals like speakers.
For the best overall picture quality, go with the IPS panel of the LG. It's particularly better for color accuracy, which is great if you're doing tasks that require good visuals. However, if you think you'll ever be doing more intensive gaming or multitasking, the versatility of the Dell might make it worth the extra investment.
I've heard some people mention that VA panels like the Dell's can suffer from ghosting or smearing, especially in the corners. If you're mostly using it for Microsoft Office and YouTube, the LG should definitely serve you well without those issues.
