Which Motherboard to Choose for My First PC Build?

I'm getting ready to build my first PC and I've already picked out my RAM, SSD, and PSU. Now I'm trying to choose between two motherboards for my Lian Li A3 mATX case: the MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI for $188 AUD and the Asus TUF GAMING B650EM-E WIFI for $229 AUD. Do you think the TUF is worth the extra $50, or should I save the money for games or other components?

Honestly, just grab whichever board is on sale right now. With Black Friday coming up, there are likely great deals for motherboards bundled with CPUs. If you're aiming for more features, maybe hold out for a B850 board, though they can be pricier. Consider waiting for those deals before you make a final decision.

The TUF really shines with that extra M.2 slot, which is huge for many users. Plus, the MSI places the GPU slot at the second PCIe position, which can be tight in smaller cases like the A3. I’d personally lean towards the TUF for better airflow and more space for fans. If you're looking at a B850 board, check out the Gigabyte B850M Force WIFI, but be aware of its limited rear IO.

I say go with the MSI. It has all the features you'll likely need, especially if you're budget-constrained. It's a solid board to get started with.
