Which Parts Should I Upgrade First for Gaming?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 3600x with a B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, an RX 570 4GB GPU, 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and a combination of a 1.2TB SSD and a 1TB HDD. I also have a 144Hz monitor. I primarily play lighter games like CS2, LoL, Valorant, and GTA 5, but I'm looking to prepare for GTA 6 as well. Based on my setup, what do you all suggest I upgrade first?

I’d prioritize upgrading to 32GB RAM first, then go for a new GPU like the 9060 XT or 9070, and finally upgrade your CPU to the cheapest X3D model along with a good cooler. That's the order I’d suggest based on your needs.

Honestly, RAM isn't as crucial right now. I had 16GB until recently and didn't face any issues while gaming. I think focusing on the GPU first would give you the biggest performance boost.

I've had a similar setup, and my first upgrade was the GPU. I had the B450 and Ryzen 5 3600 too, paired with an RX 580. I later swapped out the CPU and added more RAM. If I could redo it all, I’d recommend upgrading the motherboard, CPU, and GPU at the same time if your budget allows! But that can get pricey, lol.

Haha, if I'm spending that much, I might as well just build a new rig! What GPU did you go with, and did it make a big difference?

Before anything, what's your budget? Knowing that will really help in making specific recommendations!

I'm looking at around $300-500, but I could save up for something better if needed.
